Brisbane (KAN) - A Brisbane man is facing a record of four charges of selling drugs on the streets, including prescription drugs like Viagra and Cialis, which he says could lead to more than 100,000 deaths in the region.
Michael Kaspi, 29, is facing a record of four charges, including possession of prescription drugs with intent to sell, possession of drugs under the age of 18, possession of a prohibited substance for a purpose not approved by the health regulator.
“It is a very serious matter,” Queensland Health Director Paul Pashley told the Brisbane Times.

“There are many people who will be charged with possession of drugs on the street, and it is clear that it is not safe for people to be using them,” Pashley said.
“These drugs can be dangerous to people.”
The warning states that a person must have been prescribed or was ordered to have a prescription and must have been in possession of the drug for a particular time, but not a prohibited substance for a specific time. Pashley said the warning was designed to help people avoid the dangers of a drug while taking it.
“People who buy drugs on the street can be more cautious and risk taking the drug at a higher dose or for a longer period of time, so they may be more vulnerable to side effects,” Pashley said.
“There is a very serious danger of having a drug that is inadvisable to you from a health professional, or from someone who is going to harm you.
“They will be charged with a serious crime if they use the drugs to get you to commit a crime.
“If you are not going to be charged, you are not going to be prosecuted for selling drugs and you can go to jail, or you can be charged with a serious crime for selling them and you are not going to be prosecuted for selling them, and you are not going to be prosecuted for selling the drugs.”
Pashley said the warning was intended to help people avoid the dangers of a drug and that people who buy drugs on the streets should be given proper guidance.
“People can be more cautious and risk taking the drug at a higher dose or for a longer period of time, so they may be more vulnerable to side effects,” Pashley said.
